Freelance Cut Films Youth Worker
Cut Films Youth Worker (£160 day rate, £80 half day rate)
Creative and ambitious youth worker with excellent filmmaking skills wanted for innovative community project.
Passionate about youth participation? Love film? Excited about using film and social media to engage young people in issues that affect them directly?
Want to work for an award winning youth project within an ambitious and friendly team?
We are looking for freelance youth workers with excellent filmmaking and youth facilitation skills to lead a Cut Films project in Southwark and Windsor & Maidenhead (two seperate roles).
Cut Films is a peer-to-peer film and social media project from national charity, the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. Our projects actively engage local young people in learning about the dangers of tobacco through filmmaking.
The successful candidate will work with youth clubs/organisations, primary and secondary schools in target areas and support young people through workshops and a youth panel.
We are looking for a creative and organised individual with a flair and passion for working with young people through film.
This role will be home-based in either Southwark or Windsor & Maidenhead, please indicate which area you applying for in the subject header.
Access to a car is favourable for getting about with filmmaking equipment.
