Our anti-smoking film and creative media project supports young people to make healthy lifestyle choices. Our approach is award winning.

what we do

We are an award winning anti-tobacco youth charity working with young people, schools, youth groups and in partnership with local authorities to persuade young people to not smoke.

Our Cut Films workshops support young people to learn the facts about tobacco and to translate their research into short adverts or films which they share with their friends and family as part of a national film competition.

Our interactive filmmaking workshops are linked to the national curriculum and support young people under 25 to learn new skills.

Our approach is fun, engaging and evidence led.

How we do it
1. EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE & AWARENESS

We educate young people about all aspects of tobacco, raising the awareness about the dangers of using tobacco.

2. SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

We support young people to gain new transferable skills such as filmmaking, project management, leadership, communication (literacy and presentation) and team working.

3. CHANGING SOCIAL NORMS

Through our workshops we alter young people’s perceptions and attitudes towards smoking, thus enabling them to make healthier choices.
